PDF Max for Android: from preview to Google Play

Where can I find the PDF Max Android release?

PDF Max and PDF Max Pro are now available on Google Play for compatible Android phones and tablets running Android 11 or later. This article began as our development preview. Read the new launch introduction for the released features, screenshots, edition differences, and download links. Research Workspace and Study remain Apple-only.

We first published this preview while preparing PDF Max for Android. That work has now reached Google Play, bringing reading, annotation, forms, signing, and optional advanced PDF tools to Android phones and tablets.

A complete PDF workflow on Android

The Android release brings everyday document tasks together: read and search PDFs, highlight passages, draw, comment, fill forms, and add signatures. Optional Premium tools extend that workflow with editing, OCR, Reflow, conversion, redaction, and compression. PDF Max Pro includes page organization and reusable signatures; Premium is a separate optional subscription.

The app supports Android 11 or later on compatible devices. See the new launch post for a tour of the released app and screenshots from Android phones and tablets.

Platform differences

Research Workspace, source-linked Cards, Compare Sources, and Study remain available on Apple devices. Android also does not include Form Assist and answer profiles, automatic Detect Fields, equation recognition, or table contextual editing tabs.
